2.1. We will collect your personal information, which is relevant to the insurance policies or mortgages that we talk to you about, directly from you. We may also obtain information from insurance companies that you have used and companies from whom you have obtained credit.

Please note that any searches undertaken prior to you proceeding with your application will be soft searches and will not affect your credit rating.
