2.1.    We will collect your personal information, which is relevant to the insurance policies or mortgages that we talk to you about, directly from you.  We may also obtain information from insurance companies that you have used and companies from whom you have obtained credit.

3.1.    We collect your personal information so that we can give you advice, unless collecting the information is overridden by your interests, rights or freedoms. 

3.2.    We also collect and process your personal information to comply with our legal obligations and, where applicable, to pursue our legitimate interests as a business.


4.       What will we do with your personal information and who will we share it with?

4.1.    We will only use your personal information to provide the insurance and mortgage broking services for which you have engaged us. 

4.2.    We will never share your personal information with any outside organisation for sales or marketing purposes.

4.3.    We will share your information with insurance companies and mortgage providers so that we can place your insurance or your mortgage on the best terms we can get and in accordance with your instructions.

4.4.    Information provided by you may be put onto a register of claims by your insurer and shared with other insurers to prevent fraudulent claims.

4.5.    Should you wish to pay your premium by instalments we may pass your information to a premium finance provider.  However, this will not be done without discussing payment options with you first.

4.6.    We may share your information with and obtain information about you from credit reference agencies.  If you require information about the credit reference agency from whom we have received information, please contact us.  Please note that any searches undertaken prior to you proceeding with your application will be soft searches and will not affect your credit rating.

5.1.    We will keep your information for as long as is necessary to carry out the services that we agreed and to meet regulatory requirements and our legal obligations.

5.2.    You are entitled to request access to any personal information that we hold about you and you can request any amendment should the information be incomplete or inaccurate.
